The Story Behind the Name
Our Founder, January had known for quite some time that he wanted to create a tour company and provide his customers with an exceptional experience. Each time he would climb Mount Kilimanjaro, he would chat to his customers and discuss his plans for his business. It wasn’t until August 2023 that he landed on the name of the company. When chatting with a customer, they were talking about children’s names and what the first letter of the name stood for. For example, the K in Keira meant Kind. The customer asked what the J in January stood for and January said Joy. That was the moment he realized he had found the name for his company – JoyTrekking Tours & Safaris!
