One
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Morning pickup from Arusha with your JoyTrekking guide, who shares personal stories of growing up in this region as you head south.
- Enter Tarangire, where elephants dominate the landscape. Herds move gracefully beneath towering baobab trees, and giraffes reach for acacia leaves while warthogs scurry below.
- Picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, where zebras, wildebeest, and impala gather to drink.
- Afternoon game drive continues with chances to spot lions resting in the shade or cheetahs scanning the savannah.
- Evening transfer to your lodge near Lake Manyara. Dinner is a flavorful spread of Tanzanian pilau rice, spiced vegetables, tender grilled meats, and tropical fruits, prepared with warmth and care.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
- Early breakfast at the lodge before entering Lake Manyara. The Rift Valley escarpment rises dramatically above the park as the morning light breaks.

- Explore the open plains and lakeshore, home to the famous tree-climbing lions and thousands of pink flamingos shimmering on the lake.
